Hi, I’m Andrea!

Several years ago, I made two important choices that have significantly shaped my life: I adopted a wonderful rescue dog named Cato and embarked on my journey into Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Almost immediately, I discovered that the same scientific principles that underpin my therapy practices were also being applied in the field of dog training. This realization sparked my deep fascination with behavioral science. In the past, I held misconceptions about dogs, such as believing they are “pack animals” and need to understand “who's boss” to thrive. In reality, these ideas are harmful myths that can negatively impact a dog’s welfare and relationship with their guardian.

Continuing my education in dog behavior is absolutely vital to me, as I’m committed to improving the emotional well-being of dogs and their human companions. As a certified Fear Free Professional Trainer, I implement evidence-based positive reinforcement training and behavior modification techniques that ensure working with your dog is safe, enjoyable, and life-changing for both of you.
